It is that time of year again! Soon I will be heading up north to Columbus for this years Ohayocon! Woot woot! I'm am going to be there Friday and Saturday along with my friends. It is going to. Be awesome!

Cosplay Updates

Premiering my Holy Rome cosplay at Colossalcon in Sandusky, OH went better than I expected. To be perfectly honest, I was thinking people wouldn't recognise me, or they would think I was a different person. However, people seemed to love it. I love that cosplay so much, so I was so happy to hear people actually recognise who I was and ask for pictures.
Now on to other news.
Since I have finished Holy Rome completely now, I have been thinking about my next cosplay. This next one is probably going to be my project for the summer and I hope to have it done by the end of summer to premier it at either Matsuricon or Aoi Uma Con. I am really excited about this one since I have been wanting to do it for quite sometime now. I have the main piece done, now I need to work on the props and the details. I don't want to give to much away, but I will tell you it is from an AU of Hetalia.

Anon Hate.

So today I got my first Anon hate on tumblr. To be honest? I was excited.
I reblogged a UK x Germany picture because I loved how the artist did it, and this person was like. "I HAD SO MUCH RESPECT FOR THIS BLOG UNTIL YOU POSTED GERUK. WOW. I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING NICE TO SAY OR ANYTHING HORRIBLE ENOUGH TO BE FITTING"
Amazing grammar and use of punctuation right there, right? *extreme sarcasm*
So I promptly turned off Anon asks and replied:
"So you don't like UK x Germany. Like I care. I don't really care much for it either, but at least I know how to respect other people's pairings and the work these artists put into a piece, which is why I reblogged it by the way.
Honestly, it is people like yourself that gives Hetalians a bad name. People from other fandoms are scared of us because they are scared of what people will do to them for the pairings they support.
Do I ship Germany and England? No. I do not. Do I rip people apart and try to make them scared of shipping them? No. I don't. Am I intimidated by you and your anonymous hate? Not. At. All.
So go ahead. Hate on me all you want. Stop following my blog. Spread lies about me and my blog. But just to let you know. Next time you want to hate on me. You better have the courage to say it to my face."
And that is my rant of the day.

Colossalcon Update!

So Colossalcon is less than a week away, and I have never been so excited like I am now. All my cosplays are completely done, which is a miracle, and currently editing the pictures from a photoshoot I had this afternoon.
As you can probably tell, my Italy wig came in, so Italy is going to Colossalcon! Woo!
Unfortunately, I can only go Friday and Saturday instead of all 4 days like I had said before. So my line up has changed.
Friday: North Italy (APH)
Saturday: Holy Roman Empire (APH)
I hope to see you there if you are going! If you see me, feel free to come over and say hello!

Colossalcon and Other things

I know it has been a while since I last wrote a journal. (Aka since 7 January) but I Just wanted to give an update.
My Italy wig is finally coming in. Should be here on Thursday. So I will be doing my cosplay pictures with my entire Italy cosplay and possibly my Chibitalia.
I finished HRE this week. I am so proud of that cosplay, you have no idea. And I finished Fem!France. Both cosplays will be premiered at Colossalcon June 6-9.
Speaking of Colossalcon. I will be there the entire weekend with my cosplay group. Sadly, our Russia/Japan/Switzerland cannot make it, but our group's China will be going to her first con. So we are excited. I will be there as Fem!France (Thurs), HRE (Friday possibly Sat.), Chibitalia (Sat), and Italy (Sun.)
If you see me there, feel free to come and say hello.
